Why BLD Construction
In Turkey, the construction sector is often caught in a dilemma between scale and speed. Large firms pay the price of carrying engineering capacity through cumbersome decision-making processes, while small-scale firms remain too small to sustain that discipline. BLD Construction was founded to bridge this gap: our aim is to bring corporate-scale engineering quality together with the agility of a team that can make fast decisions, all under one roof.

Founding motivation
BLD Construction is the natural continuation of more than twenty years of corporate engineering experience accumulated by its management team. Experience spanning from industrial investments to residential projects, from infrastructure works to technical consultancy has been brought together to be offered to clients under an independent corporate identity, with its own distinct working culture.
The company's purpose is not merely to deliver projects. The real aim is to build, from the very first project, the trust that will lead the client to choose the same firm for their next project as well. For this reason, the reporting format, contract templates, quality control plans and warranty process are operated on the basis of written standards from day one.
Our working culture
Documentation discipline
The record that proves the work was done is as valuable as the work itself. Concrete pours, weld fabrications and critical installation connections are recorded with photographs and dates. As-built drawings do not appear once the structure is finished; they are updated at every stage.
Written reporting
Each month, a single-page summary report is provided to the client, accompanied by a detailed file. The open-items list (action list) is never closed; every item is tracked with its owner, due date and status.
Integration of site and office
Design and execution are not separate worlds. A surprise encountered on site, unless redrawn in the office, will recur in the next project. That is why the site team and the engineering team are in weekly contact.
Our approach to the client
At BLD Construction, the client relationship rests on three pillars: fidelity to the schedule, execution in line with the specification, and commitment to the budget target. To ensure delivery on the planned date, the schedule baseline is reported every month; in the event of any deviation, its cause and the improvement plan are shared transparently. The quality criteria set out in the specification are applied on site exactly as specified. The site is organized with the firm's professional and deep engineering experience; this shortens decision times.
Geographic focus and scale
Our headquarters are in İzmir. The Aegean Region is our primary focus; however, we take on the right project anywhere in Turkey. In terms of scale, medium and large-scale industrial investments, residential blocks, organized industrial zone (OIZ) infrastructure projects and high-quality commercial buildings are efficient scales for us.
We can also provide independent services for small-scale private projects — where the client needs technical consultancy or project management.
